House for Andrew in Vilnius, 2016

House is located in the woody area on the outskirts of Vilnius. It is because of the lush Pines and Spruces growing in the plot the house was placed in the most northernly position. All of the rooms in the house have a view of the forest and the inner courtyard. Courtyard is formed to ensue the privacy of the residents. It is also protected from the wind and rain. House is cladded in thermally treated wood which is also black to attrack more sunlight and keep the residents warm without the need of excesive energy
