Malmö harbour transformation into public park with library

Malmö harbor has grown together with the city. It expanded towards the sea and is very close to the historic center of Malmö. The city is growing and this industrial plot of land is no longer suited for international shipping is going to become a new center of the city. Having in mind the history of the place I proposed shaping the new public park into a permanent dock with several ship shaped wedges stretching into the sea. The lover area is dedicated to public use housing libraries, markets and meeting rooms whereas the top is a lush green park.
