A shed for tools and a canoe
Location: Molėtai, Lithuania
Area: 30 m²
Status: completed project
The shed is located in my fathers summer house which is in Molėtai. A small town in the north of Lithuania. My father always needed a shed where he could fix things and thus keep the main house clear of canoe pats. When designing this small house I also had my little brother in mind. A big part of the second floor is actually a transperant hammar made out of a net stretched between the beams. Hammock is where my little brother like to play. The whole building is cladded with only one material - larch planks. Roof structure is exposed and visible from the inside. You can close the window shutters and still have some light comming through into the building.
