Residential quarter competition in Vilnius

Right on the edge of scenic Pavilnys regional park lies a plot of land surrounding a small hill. The place has no name but it is a location like no other. Woven between the trees there are small plots of land which someday could become homes for sixteen lucky families. The Architecture for the competition is there only to complement the already perfect place. Sharp roof angles playfully contrast the trees and the flat and low volume of the lower house is there to allow a seamless entrance from the outside. Flat volumes lay on the edges of the hill and allow for a sunny view throughout the day. Every house is slightly different from one to another and therefore unique.
